Forensic Artist Sketch of Fort Mill Burglary Suspect

The York County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary, in an effort to help identify the suspect the victim has assisted a forensic artist in developing a composite of the suspect’s likeness.


This incident occurred June 13, 2008, at approximately 11:23a.m. on Beacon Knoll Lane in the Bailiwyck Subdivision near Fort Mill, SC. A 15 year-old female, who lives at the home, was present when the suspect kicked in a door to gain entry. The suspect was in the home for several minutes during which time the victim struggled with the suspect. The victim stabbed the suspect in the back of his neck with a fork, but any wound may be superficial. The suspect threatened to stab the victim and then left taking with him watches and jewelry.


The suspect is described as a black male in his mid 20s to mid 30s, 5’8” to 5’11” tall and very stocky build. The suspect had a prominent gap between his front, upper teeth and his teeth were stained yellow.  At the time of this incident the suspect had a bald, or clean shaven head, and was wearing a Lecoste polo shirt that had white and green strips, the strips were trimmed in blue; he wore the shirt-tail out of his pants. He was also wearing blue jean shorts that came just below the knees and he was wearing light colored Timberland, or similar boots.


The Suspect was driving an older model white Lexus that had tinted windows and a spoiler on the rear of the car.
