Crime Stoppers of York County, Inc. has partnered with other Crime Stoppers programs across the state in a unique effort to solve a number of unsolved cases. Unsolved cases are featured on each playing card.

These decks of playing cards will then be sold in South Carolina Department of Corrections commissaries. Inmates purchase the playing cards from the commissaries and each time a hand is dealt, inmates see an unsolved case that they may have information on. The deck also prominently display a toll-free telephone number that inmates can use to give anonymous tips.

Seven unsolved cases from York County law enforcement agencies were included in this first deck of cards. A second deck of cards is currently in the works.
